ABOUT US ~ Supporting Homeschool Families

Tri-State Homeschool, Inc. is a Christian homeschool support group for families in the DE, MD and PA areas.

Tri-State exists to create opportunities where Christian values and morals are cherished openly and safely discussed. While a statement of faith is not required for general membership, agreeing to remain a positive encouragement toward our values during Tri-State events is expected.

Tri-State is an established organization with credibility and committed leadership. It is a hub connecting homeschoolers to various social, athletic, artistic, scholastic, and competitive groups, reminding folks that they are part of a larger vibrant community.

Tri-State annual events include a Book/Curriculum Sale, Club Night, Field Day, Family Night, Talent Show, Geography Fair, History Fair, and Annual Members’ Meeting. Science Olympiad, Math Olympiad, and Geography Bee are organized events for homeschooled students who would otherwise not participate without public or private school enrollment.

This large membership base provides opportunities for groups to gather together for other activities, such as field trips and classes at local venues that might not offer those classes during the day without having enough interest.

Tri-State also has the insurance necessary to protect our members should they utilize those facilities, which many require as building usage requirements are ever-evolving.

Communication is achieved through this membership website and Facebook page. Communication forums provide a place to share non-homeschool related topics within a trusted community, i.e., requests for reputable doctors and reliable tradesmen (plumbers, electricians), advertise items for sale, announce field trips or church activities, volunteering opportunities, job postings, local votes, and civic opportunities, etc.

Tri-State encourages families with ways to participate and get involved in affecting the culture around us for good and to the glory of God.

Information about upcoming meetings and votes on Legislative Bills, Pro-Life walks, Town Hall meetings, Common Core, elected officials, and other such items occurring in our government and communities is often shared.

KAYRON VENCI ~ Secretary

Hello! I’ve been homeschooling since 2010 and was an elementary public-school teacher before getting married and moving around with the military. In 2017 God moved our family of 5 (2 daughters and a son) to Delaware where we quickly got plugged in this amazing homeschool community and Wednesday Co-op. Tri-State has been a great organization to help our family further plug into the community. I’m excited to serve this organization and community by serving on the Board and leading several activities like our monthly skating and field day. I’m excited to see what God has in store for Tri-State.
